Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Asim Riaz's outburst leads to expulsion after shoe incident, host Rohit Shetty kicks him out of the show

The adrenaline-pumping reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi is back with its highly anticipated 14th season,  promising fans an electrifying experience filled with jaw-dropping stunts and intense challenges.The second episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 was marked by intense drama. The episode featured Asim Riaz being expelled after a heated clash with host Rohit Shetty and fellow contestants.

During the show, Riaz displayed disrespectful behavior, derogatorily referring to other contestants as ‘losers.’

Rohit Shetty took a stern stand against this conduct, warning Riaz, “Utha ke yahi patak dunga” (I will throw you out right here). Following this warning, Riaz was dismissed from the competition due to his disruptive behavior.

The drama unfolded during a challenging task where Asim Riaz, Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnani had to retrieve flags from a suspended plank while balancing on a seesaw.

The goal was to collect five flags, with only the top two performers avoiding elimination.

Although Aashish and Niyati successfully completed the task, Asim struggled and failed to meet the requirements. This led to Aashish and Niyati urging Asim to own up to his shortcomings.

After struggling with the task, Asim Riaz accused the show's team of setting up an impossible challenge. He challenged them, saying, “Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee from you guys. If you do it, I won’t take a rupee, camera is on.”

When Rohit Shetty questioned his claims, Asim insisted that the task was unachievable. To refute this, Rohit showed Asim a rehearsal video where the team successfully completed the task while adhering to all safety protocols.

Rohit clarified that each task is first demonstrated by the team to ensure safety before it is presented to the contestants.

After seeing the rehearsal video, Asim said, “Yes, I asked for the proof.” Rohit asked him, “Now what do you want to say.” Responding to Rohit, he said, “Sir, there’s no problem. I am very sorted.”

Rohit Shetty continued, “Kal bhi tune bohot bakwaas ki (Yesterday also you said a lot of nonsense).”

While Asim was trying to explain himself, Rohit lost his cool and said, “Sun meri baat sunle varna main utha ke yahi patak dunga. Aise mere se badtameezi nahi karna." (Listen to be otherwise I will thrash you here. Don’t behave badly here).”

This led Asim to approach Rohit, walking towards him. Despite Abhishek Kumar’s warning to stay back, Asim turned around and yelled,“Don’t f**k with me. I’m 31 years old and have been 15 years in the industry. Who are you talking about? You just got famous.” Abhishek asked Asim, “Are you jealous?” Asim shouted, “No, I am not. Everybody is famous. Joh shaurat maine dekhi hai na, kisine nahi dekhi hai (Nobody else has seen the start I have seen).”

When Asim began shouting, the show’s team intervened to calm him down. However, he continued to blame them, declaring, “The money that you guys are giving me, I earn triple of it. I have so much money you can’t even imagine. I change four cars within six months. Do you think I need that money? It is for the fans I was here, not for these losers.”

When Asim referred to the other contestants as 'losers,' Abhishek lost his temper. This only fueled Asim's agitation, leading him to charge at Abhishek with a shoe in hand. As other contestants restrained Abhishek, Asim continued to shout, “You see the buzz around the internet. It is because of me. Do you get it? Because it’s after four years. Whenever I come even after 10 years, it’s the same buzz. Otherwise yeh aate jaate pata nahi chalta (otherwise nobody would know about them).”

After Asim stormed off in frustration, Rohit Shetty remarked on his decade-long experience hosting the show, noting that in his 10 years and with 150-200 contestants, he had never witnessed such a dramatic scene. “It was a shock to me,” the filmmaker admitted. He then informed the remaining contestants that Asim had been expelled from the show due to his behavior.

He said, “I wish him all the luck but now he can’t continue in this show. He has a point of view, no doubt about it and I respect that. I wish him all the luck. He is a young kid and may god bless him with success.”
