Katy Perry and fiancé Orlando Bloom part ways after 10 years of relationship: Report

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship had been tense for several months, according to an insider, who said the split "has been a long time coming."

Singer Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly parted ways after seven years of engagement and ten years of relationship, as per latest reports.

As per Us Weekly, a source informed, "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”

According to the source, Katy's rigorous work schedule and the couple's frequent separations were factors in the escalation of their conflict. "Orlando is over it," the source continued, adding that despite being engaged for years, they never decided on a wedding date or made any firm plans.

Daisy Dove, the couple's daughter, was born in 2020 after they became engaged in 2019. They have decided to co-parent their 4-year-old in a calm manner despite their separation. Before going to the Bezos wedding, Orlando took Daisy to meet Katy on tour. According to the insider, their split is friendly and "it's not messy between them."

The couple has already taken time apart in 2017; this is not the first time they have done so. During her 2024 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Katy reflected on their early relationship, saying, “We weren’t really in it from day one. He was, because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can’t do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot of real work.”

In March 2025, they made their final public appearance together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Orlando was spotted with Daisy during the weekend of June 21 and 22 in Perth, Australia, where Katy was on tour. The pair was not, however, pictured together at that time. Prior to their 2012 divorce, Katy was previously married to Russell Brand in 2010.
