Karisma Kapoor, accompanied by her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan, stood firmly by her children during the heart-wrenching moments. In visuals that have now gone viral on social media, Kiaan, overwhelmed with sorrow, is seen being consoled by his mother and aunt Kareena. The 13-year-old was inconsolable, clutching on tightly as tears flowed. Samaira, Karisma’s elder daughter, also appeared visibly shaken, her face reflecting the immense emotional toll of the loss.

The family remained closely huddled together throughout the funeral, surrounded by white flowers and somber faces. Kareena and Saif’s presence added strength, as they provided emotional support to both Karisma and the children in their time of mourning.

Sunjay Kapur, who was 53, was the Chairman of Sona Comstar, a leading auto components company. He passed away suddenly in England on June 12 after collapsing during a polo match. As per a report in The Telegraph, Sunjay suffered an anaphylactic shock after a bee sting inside his mouth—a rare and fatal allergic reaction.
