International fashion brand Vivienne Westwood recently held its first-ever show in India on April 1. The event was held at the famous Gateway of India in Mumbai, and many Bollywood stars graced the red carpet.
Several celebrities walked the fashion carpet, with most of them wearing outfits designed by Vivienne Westwood as a tribute to the late designer.
The celebs, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mira Rajput, Rohit Saraf, Disha Patani, Radhika Merchant, Anjali Merchant, Aditya Roy Kapur, Vijay Verma, Manushi Chhillar, Janhavi Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Patralekha, and Vaani Kapoor, among others, attended the fashion event in Mumbai.
The fashion event was held to celebrate and showcase India’s rich artisanal textile heritage. The fashion brand showcased its Spring Summer 2025 collection, featuring custom Vivienne Westwood designs and special archive pieces.

The designs also included a capsule collection of Vivienne Westwood couture made from high-quality, hand-woven Indian fabrics like Chanderi silk and Khadi cotton, which is closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi and India's freedom movement.
India has been becoming a bigger part of the global fashion world lately. Indian designers like Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, and Manish Malhotra have received global recognization, and several Hollywood stars have sported attires designed by them.
Additionally, Indian celebrities like Mouni Roy have also received worldwide success by walking the ramp at international fashion shows.
