Actor Vivek Oberoi recently offered fans an intimate glimpse into his luxurious Dubai residence, a ‘home away from home’ that he and his wife, Priyanka, have thoughtfully curated together.
Nestled in the picturesque and upscale neighbourhood of Meadows—where property prices range from Rs 11 crore to Rs 50 crore—their home blends elegance with a deep sense of nostalgia, reflecting Vivek’s cherished memories of growing up in Mumbai.
Sharing the journey behind their dream home, Vivek gave full credit to his wife for envisioning and bringing the space to life. He admitted that although he initially wanted to settle in the bustling downtown area of Dubai, he’s now grateful they chose Meadows, which offers a serene environment and a personal connection to their roots. The house stands as a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and cultural warmth.
Speaking to Curly Tales, Vivek said, “I didn’t even select the location of this house. All of this – the house, the interior, and the design – all credit goes to Priyanka; she is the boss. Both of us love paintings, but I was the one who chose all the art for the house, all ‘desi’ painters. The rest of it is all Priyanka. She is in love with the whole ‘vintage’ and ‘homey’ style of decor. We are also surrounded by a lot of greenery, and my wife is a ‘constant’ gardener."
According to Vivek Oberoi, their home's greenery, artwork, and other features all contribute to maintaining their ties to India. He did, however, add that Mumbai will always be home to him, regardless of where they are.
He further added, “If you ask me where home is, it is still Mumbai, because even now when I go back there, I don’t feel like returning to Dubai. But I love living here as well, and I think it’s trying to have the best of both worlds."
On the work front, Vivek Oberoi most recently appeared on screen alongside Suniel Shetty and Suraj Pancholi in the movie Kesari Veer.
