BJP MP Kangana Ranaut commented on Monday, August 5, that it is a matter of honor that Bangladesh leader Sheikh Hasina "feels safe in Bharat" following her resignation as Prime Minister and arrival near Delhi in a military aircraft due to unrest in her home country.
Kangana Ranaut, who is a national award-winning actor and MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, expressed her views on social media, stating that Muslim countries are unsafe "even for Muslims" and criticized those questioning the concept of a "Hindu Rastra" (Hindu nation).
She wrote on X, "Bharat is the original motherland of all Islamic Republics around us. We are honored and flattered that the honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh feels safe in Bharat. But for those who live in India and question why Hindu Rashtra? Why Ram Rajya? It is evident why! No one is safe in Muslim countries, not even Muslims themselves. It is unfortunate what is happening in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Britain. We are fortunate to live in Ram Rajya."

Sheikh Hasina fled Bangladesh on Monday amid widespread violent protests ongoing in the country, with the military intervening to address the power vacuum. She landed at the Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad, near New Delhi, as part of her plan to travel to London. Diplomatic sources revealed that Hasina has been relocated to a secure location, and there is now some uncertainty regarding her departure plans. The 76-year-old Hasina, daughter of Bangladesh's founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, is seeing the end of her 15-year tenure as Prime Minister amidst these dramatic developments in her country.
