Chiyaan Vikram starrer Thangalaan to release in North India on September 6

Studio Green, the production house behind Thangalaan, took to Instagram to share the thrilling news of the film's Hindi release.

In exciting news for movie lovers, the makers of the highly anticipated Tamil film, Thangalaan starring Chiyaan Vikram, have confirmed that the Hindi version will be hitting theatres on September 6th. This marks a significant step towards expanding the film's reach across India.

Studio Green, the production house behind Thangalaan, took to Instagram to share the thrilling news of the film's Hindi release. A captivating poster featuring Chiyaan Vikram accompanied the announcement. The post read, "North India Release 30th August. The Son of Gold Arrives in North India on August 30th. Prepare to experience the epic story of #Thangalaan.” The initial release date was August 30 but due to some unforeseen problem, the film's release in North India has now been shifted to September 6.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, Thangalaan is a historical drama set in the 19th century amidst the gold mines of Kolar, Karnataka. The film, which premiered globally in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on August 15, promises a captivating journey through a bygone era. The film centres around a courageous tribal leader who battles to safeguard his ancestral land from the greedy clutches of gold miners.

Thangalaan boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Hollywood actor Daniel Caltagirone. The film's soundtrack is composed by the talented GV Prakash.

Thangalaan has demonstrated a strong performance at the box office, amassing approximately Rs 38.95 crore in net earnings within India during its first eight days. According to Sacnilk, the film's momentum continued on its ninth day, adding around Rs 0.94 crore to its total, bringing the total to Rs 39.89 crore.

Thangalaan, a labor of love that began in 2022, is rooted in a true story, lending a layer of authenticity to the film. With A. Kishor Kumar's cinematography and Selva RK's editing, the film promises to be a visual masterpiece, capturing the historical setting with remarkable precision. GV Prakash Kumar's music further enhances the film's epic scale.
