Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s Tere Ishk Mein has made a bright start at the box office, and early signs suggest it could cross the double-digit crore mark on its opening day.
According to industry tracker, the film has already collected an impressive Rs 5.65 crore in India alone.
Audiences, who had walked into theatres with modest expectations, seem pleasantly surprised.
Early reactions on X (formerly Twitter) reveal that many viewers are praising Dhanush for his passionate performance, while Kriti Sanon is being hailed for delivering some of her “best work” yet.
Director Aanand L. Rai is also winning people over with his subtle yet powerful storytelling, which has always had a way of striking a deep chord with viewers.
The film's promising beginning is reminiscent of the success of Rai's previous romantic endeavors, like Saiyaara, demonstrating that moviegoers are still drawn to heartfelt love stories.
With Rai at the helm, Tere Ishk Mein is being talked about as a potential blockbuster.
As per reports, that film has collected Rs 5.65 including both advance bookings and early ticket sales.
Koimoi has suggested that, if positive word of mouth continues to spread, the film could exceed Rs 12 crore (net) on its first day.
Early trends show that it’s already edging close to Rs 3 crore from Day 1 screenings alone. Pre-sale numbers even place the film ahead of Baaghi (Rs 5.54 crore), Sitaare Zameer Par (Rs 3.1 crore), and Sky Force (Rs 3.82 crore), making it the seventh-highest Bollywood opening of 2025 so far.
