Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has a longtime feud with Vivek Oberoi, which was further fueled after the latter accused the former of threatening him.

Producer Shailendra Singh has recently revealed stunning details regarding Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan’s infamous press conference drama. Shailendra revealed that Salman was "fuming" during the controversial press conference in 2003.

During a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Shailendra, the producer of Salman Khan's Phir Milenge, revealed that he was friends with the actor long before he rose to fame.

As a close friend of Khan, he remembered Vivek’s 2003 news conference in which he claimed Salman had threatened him.

For the unversed, there were rumours that Vivek Oberoi was seeing Aishwarya Rai at the time. This happened soon after Salman and Aishwarya broke up.

Shailendra revealed that he had given Salman advice on how to handle the circumstance. He revealed that shortly after the incident, he visited Salman's home and found him to be furious.

The producer said, “He was fuming. Earlier, he would openly show his emotions. Now, he has a lot more control.”

He further added, “My only reaction after Vivek’s press conference was to tell Salman that in life, we should act, not react. Whatever needs to be done can be done later. For now, let’s sit, have a drink, and let him do whatever he’s doing.”

He further noted that the actor had followed his advice, adding, “I asked him to not act on impulse, wait and fight the battle silently.I think he did that. He made sure that Vivek doesn’t work in Bollywood anymore. I don’t know for sure, but that’s how it looks.”

The producer also talked about Salman’s relationship with Aishwarya Rai, describing  the actor as someone who is in the 'wrong place at the wrong time.’

He said, “Salman is a great guy, but always at the wrong place at the wrong time. He has a strange way of finding disaster."
