Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was recently spotted in Mumbai early morning as he cast his vote on the election day. The actor’s interaction with a young fan at a Mumbai polling place on election day has gone viral online on social media.

In the video, a woman is seen reaching the actor and touching his feet after seeking assistance due to her family's financial difficulties. Social media users have expressed delight at the moment, which was captured on camera.

Akshay was rushing towards his car after casting his vote when a young woman emerged from the crowd and requested as he made his way to his car.

The woman is seen holding a sheet of paper and said, “Papa bahut bade karze mein hai, unko please bahar nikalo (My father is in huge debt, please help him get out of it),” making her plea in full public view.

After pausing to listen, Akshay Kumar asked her to give a member of his team her phone number, indicating that he would look into the situation rather than brush it off. People who were present witnessed the exchange, which was caught on camera and swiftly went viral on the internet.

The fan thanked Akshay by bending down to touch his feet in a heartfelt gesture.

The actor immediately stopped her, saying, “Beta aisa mat kar (Don’t do that, child),” prompting appreciation from onlookers and viewers alike.

The actor is among the early celebrities to vote in Thursday's Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. He gave a brief speech to photographers after leaving the polling place and encouraged people to take part in the political process.

The actor said, “This is the day the remote control lands in our hands. I appeal to all Mumbaikars to vote.”
