BLACKPINK’s digital single “JUMP” has crossed a massive 300 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform, as confirmed by their agency YG Entertainment on September 30th KST.
Only 80 days after its July 11 release, the song reached this milestone, becoming the 19th song by BLACKPINK to reach the 300 million mark and the fastest K-pop girl group song to do so.
Right after release, it topped the Spotify weekly chart, giving BLACKPINK the distinction of having the most No. 1 hits by a K-pop girl group. Even after two months, the single has stayed strong, holding a spot in the top rankings for 11 consecutive weeks.
The dynamic beat, catchy chorus, and daring departure from the group's previous musical style make "JUMP" stand out.
With a guitar riff reminiscent of Western movies and layers of depth added by each member's distinct vocals, the song immediately captures the listener's interest.
Its success isn’t limited to Spotify — the track also performed remarkably well on U.S. Billboard charts. It set a new personal record for BLACKPINK with a 10-week run on the Hot 100, while also maintaining steady positions on the Global 200 and Global (Excl. U.S.) charts throughout the same period.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK continues to connect with fans around the world through their ongoing world tour “DEADLINE”, which includes performances in 16 major cities worldwide.
