Two former contestants of the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada are in legal trouble. Their names are Rajat Kishan and Vinay Gowda. A police case was filed against them because they were seen holding a weapon in a video that was shared on social media. This video raised concerns about public safety.

Rajat Kishan had taken part in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10, and Vinay Gowda was a contestant in Season 11. The problem started when they posted a video on Kishan’s Instagram account. In the video, both of them were seen holding a sickle, which is a sharp farming tool that can also be used as a weapon. They were walking in a public place and holding the sickle in a threatening way.

The police found this video while checking social media. Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Bhanu Prakash from Basaveshwaranagar Police Station saw the reel on March 20, 2025, while doing his job of monitoring social media for illegal or harmful content. He then filed a report, and a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the two men.

According to PSI Prakash, he and his team have been keeping an eye on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, X, and Snapchat. Their job is to look out for content that could disturb peace or break the law. When they saw the video of Kishan and Gowda holding the weapon in public, they felt it created fear and was unsafe for the public.

The police said that showing weapons in public, especially in a threatening way, is not acceptable. It can cause panic or fear among people. In the video, both men looked like they were trying to scare others, even if that wasn’t their real intention.

The video has now become evidence in the case, and the matter is being taken seriously. The police want to send a message that using weapons, even for fun or social media content, can have serious consequences if it threatens public peace.

The case has received media attention and sparked discussions on whether influencers and public figures should be more responsible about what they post online.
