Actor Mukul Dev passed away at the age of 54 in Delhi. His demise has shook the film industry as well as the entire country and several actors paid their respects as they remembered the late actor. Arjun Rampal also expressed his shock over Mukul's death as he was one of his close friends.
Arjun Rampal took to his Instagram on Saturday and share a few pictures of his dear friend as he mourned his death, along with a note that read, “Absolutely stunned by this tragic news about Mukul Dev. Life is just so uncertain. My deepest condolences to my brother @rahuldevofficial and all the family. Praying for them to find the strength to cope in these times. RIP Mukul. Om shanti #ripmukuldev.”
Arjun and Mukul have worked together in two projects- Crackk: Jeetega Toh Jeeyega and the web series Bandish Bandits.
Several other celebrities such as Manoj Bajpayee, Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Deepshikha Nagpal, Vindu Dara mourned Mukul's death.
Rahul Dev was attended the last rites of Mukul held in Delhi today, on May 24 and paid respects to his late brother. Actor Vindu Dara Singh also attended the cremation ceremony.
After being found and introduced by Amitabh Bachchan's management company, Mukul Dev initially gained notoriety in the 1990s. A series of well-known television programs, including Gharwali Uparwali, Kasshish, Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai, and Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, launched his career.
Because of his great pan-Indian appeal, he has broadened his horizons beyond Hindi entertainment over the years, leaving his mark in Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu films. He has starred in a number of well-known films, including Son of Sardaar, R… Rajkumar, Jai Ho, and Yamla Pagla Deewana, where his versatility won over viewers.
He is survived by his daughter Sia Dev. He will be last seen in the upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2 alongside Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Vindu Dara Singh.
