Bollywood icons Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan, who recently reunited at the mahurat launch of a new film, have hinted at the possibility of teaming up again, potentially for a sequel to their 1997 hit romantic comedy Ishq.
The duo attended the launch event for Tera Yaar Hoon Main on Saturday evening, a film that marks the acting debut of Aman, son of veteran filmmaker Indra Kumar. Expressing his happiness on meeting Ajay after a long while, Aamir Khan said, "I feel very happy whenever I meet Ajay. We don’t meet that often but whenever we do meet it’s with a lot of warmth and love, I like the guy he is."
Currently, Ajay who is riding high on the success of his latest release, Singham Again, reminisced about the enjoyable experience of working with Aamir Khan on Ishq, which was directed by Indra Kumar and also starred Kajol and Juhi Chawla. Reflecting on the fun they had on set, Devgn expressed, "We had so much fun on the sets of Ishq, we should do another one."
In response, Aamir Khan agreed with Ajay Devgn, expressing that they should indeed collaborate again. Khan also recalled an incident from the filming of Ishq, where a chimpanzee attacked him during a sequence. He shared how Devgn had come to his rescue, pulling him out of the situation and saving him.

He was spraying water on the chimpanzee and then ran around, shouting 'bachao bachao' like a girl," said the Singham actor.
The two Bollywood stars extended their heartfelt wishes to Aman for his debut film Tera Yaar Hoon Main, which is being directed by Milap Milan Zaveri.
On the professional front, Ajay Devgn was recently seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, while Aamir Khan’s latest appearance was 2022 release in Laal Singh Chaddha.
