Actor Divya Seth remembers daughter Mihika Shah with heartfelt tribute: 'You will live on'

Actor Divya Seth recently shared a heartfelt tribute to her late daughter, Mihika Shah, who passed away on August 5 in Mumbai. On Instagram, Divya posted a poignant message and a cherished photograph of herself with Mihika. She also included a poem for Mihika in the post.

Divya's caption reflected her deep sorrow and enduring love:

"Long after Baba and I are gone (hopefully to where You are), people who met you, knew you, loved you will remember… That beautiful girl with the sunshine smile, that lovely girl who sang and danced, that kind girl who never left anyone out, that fearless girl who embraced all sentient beings, that pure soul with indescribable luminosity. No one who even heard of you will ever forget you. You will live on, of that I am sure, my Mihika."

Mihika, the granddaughter of esteemed actor Sushma Seth, was remembered fondly by her family. Divya and her husband Siddharth Shah announced Mihika's passing on Facebook, stating, "With profound sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mihika Shah, who left for her heavenly abode on August 5th, 2024."

A few days before Mihika's passing, Divya had posted a family photograph on Instagram, showing three generations. In the picture, Mihika was seen beaming in a green dress, while Divya's mother, Sushma Seth, appeared elegant in red.

Following Mihika's death, Divya shared another emotional post on Instagram, featuring a photo of herself and Mihika smiling together. Her caption read, "Thank you for being mine."

Divya Seth, known for her roles in films like Jab We Met, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Article 370, as well as TV shows such as Hum Log and Banegi Apni Baat, expressed her profound grief. Sushma Seth, Mihika’s grandmother, is celebrated for her performances in Dhadkan, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and the TV series Dekh Bhai Dekh.
