Actress Divya Seth Shah shares heartfelt note after her daughter's sudden death

Actress Divya Seth Shah shared the heartbreaking news of her daughter Mihika Shah's passing on Tuesday. The young woman believed to be in her 20s, experienced a seizure following a fever and subsequently succumbed. Divya shared a goodbye post for her daughter on Instagram.

She shared a picture with her daughter Mihika and wrote in the caption, "Thank You for being mine" along with a heart and infinity emojis.

Divya Seth Shah has announced a prayer meeting in memory of her late daughter, Mihika Shah, to be held on Thursday evening according to PTI. The actress shared the news on Facebook.

"With profound sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mihika Shah, who left for her heavenly abode on August 5th, 2024," read the joint statement by Divya and her husband Siddharth Shah.

Television actress Divya Seth Shah, known for her roles in popular shows like "Hum Log" and "Banegi Apni Baat," as well as the film "Dil Dhadakne Do," is mourning the loss of her daughter, Mihika Shah.

Several prominent personalities from the television industry as well as Bollywood who are close to the actress also expressed their condolences.

Actor Ronit Bose Roy took to Instagram to share a deeply personal tribute to Mihika, describing her as someone he considered to be his own daughter, given their close relationship.

However, the cause of Mihika's death and her age were not disclosed by the family. The prayer meeting to commemorate Mihika's life will be held at the Sindh Colony Club House in Mumbai.
