PM will then visit Karnataka’s Shivamogga and finally go on a mega road show in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on March 18, responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, saying that ‘Shakti’ (Power) will emerge victorious on June 4, when the results of the 2024 general elections are scheduled to be declared.

“On June 4, it will become evident to everyone who can destruct the Shakti and who can earn the blessings of Shakti,” said Prime Minister Modi while addressing a political rally at Jagtial in Telangana.

He emphasised that the fight is directly between those who want to destruct the Shakti and those who worship it.

“At Shivaji Park, the INDI (INDIA) alliance announced its manifesto and mentioned its fight against the Shakti. For me, every woman, daughter is a form of Shakti,” said PM Narendra Modi.

As the crowd cheered, PM Modi addressed the women in the rally, “My dear mothers and sisters, I worship all of you in the form of Shakti. I am the priest of Bharat Maa and the priest of mothers, sisters, and daughters as well.”

Prime Minister Modi also said that he accepts the challenge of the INDIA alliance and will continue to work for the safety and security of women.

On March 17, at the concluding ceremony of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Mumbai, Rahul Gandhi had said his party and the entire opposition were fighting a Shakti.

While addressing the gathering, Gandhi said that there is a word 'Shakti' in Hinduism, adding “We are fighting against a Shakti, and now the question is what is that Shakti. The soul of the king is in the EVM. This is true. The soul of the King is in the EVM and every institution of the country, in the ED, CBI, and Income Tax department."
