Kangana Ranaut declares assets worth Rs 91 cr, gold worth Rs 5 cr, has debt of Rs 17 cr

Ranaut declared that her highest educational qualification is completing the 12th standard from a private school in Chandigarh.

Bollywood actor and BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut, who filed her nomination on May 14, declared assets worth Rs 91 crore in her election affidavit.

Ranaut's assets include Rs 28.7 crore in movable assets and Rs 62.9 crore in immovable assets. She possesses 6.7 kg of gold valued at approximately Rs 5 crore, 60 kg of silver worth Rs 50 lakh, and 14-carat diamond jewelry worth Rs 3 crore. The actor-turned-politician declared having Rs 2 lakh in cash and nearly Rs 1.35 crore in bank balances.

Kangana owns various properties across the country, including four commercial units in Chandigarh, a commercial property in Mumbai, and a commercial building in Manali. She also has three flats in Mumbai worth Rs 16 crore and a bungalow in Manali valued at Rs 15 crore.

The Queen actor possesses three luxury cars: a BMW worth Rs 98 lakh, a Mercedes Benz worth Rs 58 lakh, and a Mercedes Maybach worth Rs 3.91 crore. Additionally, she owns a Vespa scooter valued at Rs 53,000. According to the affidavit, she has Rs 2 lakh in cash and a bank balance of Rs 1.35 crore, with a debt of Rs 17 crore.

Her income for the financial year 2022-23 was Rs 4 crore, while the previous year, she earned Rs 12.3 crore.

According to Ranaut's affidavit, she has 50 Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) policies in her name and is facing eight criminal cases. She declared that her highest educational qualification is completing the 12th standard from a private school in Chandigarh.
