Two Exam Sessions for Better Opportunities JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions – Session 1 in January 2026 and Session 2 in April 2026. Aadhaar Card Must Be Updated NTA has advised candidates to ensure their Aadhaar card details are correct before filling the application form. The name, date of birth, father’s name, and photograph should match the Class 10 certificate. Any discrepancy in Aadhaar may lead to rejection of the application later.

UDID Card Required for PwD Candidates Candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category must have a valid UDID card. The card should be updated and renewed if necessary, as it will be used to verify eligibility for reservation and other exam-related relaxations.
Category Certificates Should Be Valid Students belonging to EWS, SC, ST, or OBC-NCL categories must possess valid certificates issued by a competent authority. Expired or incorrectly issued certificates will not be accepted. Without the correct category certificate, applicants will not be able to claim reservation benefits during admission.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2026 To apply, candidates should have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024 or 2025, or be appearing in 2026. Core subjects should include Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or a technical subject. While there is no age limit, students can attempt JEE Main for three consecutive years only.
