In an apparent expression of anger over the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, a passenger slapped one of the accused who was being taken inside Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport by the Meghalaya Police on Tuesday night, News18 reported.
As the Police team entered the Indore airport with the four accused, a passenger, who was waiting with his luggage outside the airport, saw them being taken by the police and slapped one of them, the report added.

As per the report, it could not be immediately known which one of the four accused was slapped, as they were wearing masks. The video of the incident has gone viral.
Sushil Lakwani, the man who slapped the accused, was quoted by News18 saying that he was angered by the incident.
“I have hit him (one of the accused in Raja Raghuvanshi case) because I am angry that a resident of Indore was killed. They (the accused) should be hanged till death. The woman killed the man with full planning,” he added.
Indore’s Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajesh Dandotia, said that a team of 12 Meghalaya Police officers took the four accused — Raj Kushwaha, Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput, and Anand Kurmi — to Shillong after getting permission from an Indore court to take them into custody for the journey.
An official said that after Raja Raghuvanshi was killed on May 23 in Meghalaya, his wife Sonam — who is the main accused — reportedly came to Indore.
“We have received information that Sonam came to Indore from Meghalaya, and stayed in a rented flat in Dewas Naka area between May 25 and 27. However, Meghalaya Police will be able to give detailed information about this,” he was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Meghalaya Police have said that Raja Raghuvanshi (29), who had gone to the state for his honeymoon, was murdered by his wife, Sonam (25). She had allegedly planned the murder with her lover Raj Kushwaha (20), and hired three killers for the job, the report added.
