A four-storey building in Delhi's Shahdara has tilted to one side. Officials have asked the residents of the building to evacuate immediately. People have also been evacuated from nearby areas as a safety measure.

Reports have said that the building is currently being supported by wooden poles that have been erected on either side of the building so that untoward incidents can be stopped.

Reports further said that a police team from the Farsh Bazaar station is currently deployed near the building to prevent people from staying near the building and to urge them to stay away.

"We are requesting everyone to stay away from the area. Officials from the MCD are inspecting the structure and have also pasted a notice to vacate the building," a police official said.
