Citroen C3X launched with additional features, C3 range now starts at Rs 5.25 lakh

Citroen India has launched the new C3X, featuring 15 additional features, at Rs 7.91 lakh (ex-showroom). Also, the C3 range has become more affordable with the prices now starting at Rs 5.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the new C3X will begin in the first week of September, with display vehicles arriving in mid-August.

The new C3X includes Proxi-Sense passive entry and push start, cruise control with speed limiter (in the automatic variant), a 360-degree camera with seven viewing modes, an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror, and LED lighting upgrades. It also adds a rear USB Type-C port and a perimetric alarm.

The infotainment system features a 10.25-inch Citroen Connect touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other updates include a metropolitan leatherette-wrapped instrument panel and tropicalized automatic air-conditioning.

Powertrain options remain the same at 1.2-litre PureTech 82 naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 1.2-litre PureTech 110 direct-injection turbo petrol engine, offered with 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, or 6-speed automatic transmissions. The turbo variant delivers 0-100kmph acceleration in under 10 seconds and an ARAI-certified mileage of 19.3kmpl.

The C3X retains its 180mm ground clearance, 2,540mm wheelbase, 315-litre boot, and suspension tuned with Citroen advanced comfort for Indian roads. Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), engine immobiliser, speed-sensitive auto door locks, and high-speed alert system.

The updated model is available in five monotone and two dual-tone exterior colours, along with three interior themes. Following are the new Citroen C3 prices (ex-showroom).

C3 Feel NA (O): Rs 7.27 lakh

C3X Shine NA: Rs 7.91 lakh

C3X Shine Turbo MT: Rs 9.11 lakh

C3X Shine Turbo AT: Rs 9.90 lakh

The CNG kit fitment is available for an additional Rs 93,000. Also, the 360-degree camera can be added to C3X Shine trims at an additional Rs 25,000.
