Bajaj Auto has expanded its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the Chetak C25, the most affordable variant in the Chetak range. Priced at Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new Chetak C25 will be available across all Chetak stores pan-India, targeting urban users.

Positioned as a city-focussed offering, the Chetak C25 is powered by a 2.5kWh battery and delivers a claimed range of up to 113km on a single full charge. The scooter has a top speed of 55kmph and supports fast charging, with 80% charge achievable in 2.25 hours.

The Chetak C25 continues with the brand's metal body construction, a key differentiator in a segment dominated by plastic-bodied scooters. It features a mono-body design without joints, a signature DRL headlamp, and a premium paint finish. Bajaj is offering the scooter in six colour options.

Practicality remains a focus area. The scooter offers a 25-litre under-seat storage compartment, designed to accommodate daily errands and grocery runs. Bajaj has equipped the C25 with features such as hill hold assist, guide-me-home lighting, and disc brakes, with the intent of improving safety and ease of use in stop-go urban traffic conditions.
