The Indian rupee opened higher by 22 paise at 67.65 per dollar against previous close 67.87.

The Indian rupee gained in the opening trade on Wednesday. It has opened higher by 22 paise at 67.65 per dollar against previous close 67.87.The Economic Survey 2016-17 presented in Parliament projected the economy to grow in the range of 6.75 percent to 7.25 percent in the next fiscal year 2017-18 post demonetisation.Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is going to present his third Budget today.
