Sterlite Industries' March quarter profit rose 51 percent to Rs 1925 crore boosted by better performance in its zinc, copper and power businesses. Sales of the Vedanta group company grew 17 percent to Rs 12609 crore due to a forex gain of Rs 78 crore which more than offset lower metal price.
