JK Cement on Monday reported 8.5 percent drop in standalone net profit at Rs 69.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 76.38 crore in corresponding quarter of previous fiscal (2013-14), JK Cement said in a BSE filing.
The company's standalone total income from operations increased to Rs 916.05 crore in the fourth quarter of last fiscal, over Rs 832.71 crore in corresponding period.
Its standalone expenses went up to Rs 789.86 crore in the fourth quarter of 2014-15, from Rs 704 crore in the same period a year ago, it added.
The company's standalone net profit increased by 61.7 percent to Rs 156.92 crore in 2014-15, from Rs 97.02 crore in the previous fiscal.
JK Cement's shares were trading 1.66 percent up at Rs 605.95 apiece during afternoon session on the BSE.
