NSE to offer post graduate diploma in financial markets

The premier bourse, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd has joined hands with the Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics (GIPE), a deemed university at Pune, to start post graduate executive diploma course in financial markets (PGED-FM) for working pofessionals.

The premier bourse, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd has joined hands with the Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics (GIPE), a deemed university at Pune, to start post graduate executive diploma course in financial markets (PGED-FM) for working pofessionals.


The financial sector is expected to play a major role as a catalyst in the economic development of India. The sector is expected to create more than one crore jobs, before the end of this decade and NSE is keen to ensure that the needs of the sector are met through a supply of highly skilled professionals, an exchange statement said here.


The minimum requirement to join the post graduate program is a graduation degree, with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and atleast two years of work experience. The course is proposed to commence from the end of January, 2013. The Last day of application is December 3.
