Monsanto India's Q4 net loss widens to Rs 8.25 crore

Net sales of the company in January-March period of 2014-15 declined to Rs 69.27 crore from Rs 74.91 crore in the same period in 2013-14, Monsanto India said in a BSE filing.

Agriculture bio-technology major Monsanto India Ltd (MIL) reported a net loss of Rs 8.25 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31 due to a decline in sales. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 6.05 crore in the corresponding year-ago period.

Net sales of the company in January-March period of 2014-15 declined to Rs 69.27 crore from Rs 74.91 crore in the same period in 2013-14, Monsanto India said in a BSE filing. 

LatestOne eyes Rs 500 crore revenue over next three years, LatestOne, a Hyderabad-based e-tailing company owned and operated by Palred Online Technologies, today said it is targeting revenue of Rs 500 crore over the next three years.

"We are looking at a revenue target of Rs 500 crore over the next three years," Palem Srikanth Reddy, Chairman LatestOne told reporters here.

FMNL completes sale of investment in River Bank Project  Future Market Networks Ltd, a Future Group company, today said it has completed transaction of sale of investments in the River Bank Project in Kolkata. 

The company, however, did not disclose the transaction value of the sale. "In continuation to the earlier intimation the company further intimates that the transaction of sale of investments held by the company in River Bank Project, Calcutta is completed," it said in a filing to the BSE.

ShopClues.com signs MoU with Minority Affairs Ministry  E-commerce firm ShopClues.com on Thursday said it has signed a MoU with the Ministry of Minority Affairs to become the preferred online partner for the launch of a new scheme, USTTAD.

The scheme aims at upgrading skills and preserving the traditional ancestral arts and crafts of minorities.

"As the preferred partner, ShopClues will help the beneficiaries of the Ministry, primarily artisans, to understand the existing demand in the e-commerce market and also enable them to cater to this demand," ShopClues.com co- founder and CEO Sanjay Sethi said.
