Sushil Finance's report on curency

We expect Rupee to depreciate today on the back of weak global market sentiments, demand for dollar from Importers along with the worries over funding of Current Account Deficit (CAD). Further, rise in worries over FII outflows may keep currency under pressure. However, weakness in DX, RBI measures to curb sharp depreciation in Indian Rupee by tightening liquidity along with Indian Government decision to relax the foreign direct investment (FDI) rules in some sectors to attract capital inflows may prevent sharp depreciation in the currency or even reversal may be seen. Additionally, RBI may issue government bonds which may act positive for currency.
