The Akshay Kumar - Tiger Shroff starrer 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' released in theatres on April 11. Robust advance bookings and international box office collections have helped the action film cross Rs 50 crore globally.

The movie had a big clash with Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Maidaan’ which managed to earn Rs 7.10 crore on the domestic box office. Ali Abbas Zafar's ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ was scheduled to release on April 10 but the makers pushed its release to coincide with Eid, on April 11.

Previously, Tiger’s films such as the ‘Baaghi’ franchise, ‘Heropanti’ and ‘War’ had worked well at the box office; and now, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is set to become yet another box office success in the actor’s filmography, establishing him as the box office prince.

While some audiences felt the movie didn't bring anything new to the table, with forgettable songs, a predictable plot, and lack of emotional depth, the film's action sequences, the lead duo's bromance and Prithviraj Sukumaran as a standout villain have been praised by all.

Tamil actress Priyamani, who plays Ajay Devgn's wife in 'Maidaan', and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays the antagonist in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', have worked in six films together, and she says 'almost all of them were hits'.

Bade Miyan Akshay Kumar pocketed a whopping Rs 80 crore approx. for his role while Chote Miyan Tiger Shroff bagged between Rs 40 and Rs 45 crore for his role.
