The movie had a big clash with Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Maidaan’ which managed to earn Rs 7.10 crore on the domestic box office. Ali Abbas Zafar's ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ was scheduled to release on April 10 but the makers pushed its release to coincide with Eid, on April 11.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ mints Rs 15.5 crore on opening day.

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, which saw the coming together of Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff on screen for the first time, had a great opening day. The movie was released on the Holy festival of Eid, which was on April 10.

The movie got mixed reviews from the critics but fans and movie goers have liked the action-comedy film. ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', has earned Rs 15.5 crore net on its first day in theatres, which is a very promising start.

The movie had a big clash with Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Maidaan’ which managed to earn Rs 7.10 crore on the domestic box office.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar was initially scheduled to release on April 10 but then the makers along with the cast announced its release to coincide with Eid, which was on April 11.

The movie, which also has Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist, had an occupancy of 30.35 per cent on the first day in India.

'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' also got a good response at the box office in advance bookings and it was way ahead of 'Maidaan'.

The movie has been shot in Mumbai, London, Abu Dhabi, Scotland, and Jordan, both Akshay and Tiger have done death-defying stunts. According to reports, both the lead actors used real guns and arsenal during their shoot. Ali Abbas Zafar had also said: "There is nothing more satisfying than shooting real stunts on real locations with real weaponry and equipment. We are thankful to each country for all their support for letting us use the real military equipment in the film. Guns, tanks, military trucks, chinooks and many other weapons have been used in the movie."

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ also has Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, Ronit Roy Bose in important roles. ‘Heeramandi’ actress Sonakshi Sinha has made a special appearance in the movie.

The film has been produced by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films. Julius Packiam has done the music and editing is by Steven H Bernard.
