Vivo has officially announced the launch date for its next mid-range smartphone, the Vivo T4 5G, in India. According to the official poster, the handset will be unveiled on April 22 at 12 noon (IST), with sales beginning shortly after via Flipkart and Vivo’s official website. The smartphone will be positioned as the successor to last year’s Vivo T3 5G. In comparison, the T4 5G is expected to bring a host of upgrades over the predecessor.

Vivo T4 5G will debut in India through an online launch event and will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Vivo’s online store. Promotional teasers have showcased two colour variants—a green-blue gradient and a pink finish. Vivo has also hinted that the T4 5G will come equipped with the largest battery ever featured on a smartphone in India.

Vivo T4 5G: Expected pricing

While Vivo is yet to confirm the official pricing, the T4 5G is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000. Actual pricing will be revealed on April 22.

Processor and performance: The Vivo T4 5G will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, paired with the Adreno 810 GPU. It is expected to offer up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

Display: The device could feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ Quad-Curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is expected to offer peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits (1,300 nits in high brightness mode).

Battery and charging: One of its key highlights is expected to be a massive 7,300mAh battery, supported by 90W wired fast charging.

Cameras: The rear camera setup may include a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone could carry a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Software and build: The Vivo T4 5G is likely to ship with Android 15 out of the box, layered with Funtouch OS 15. The handset is also expected to feature Diamond Shield tempered glass, which offers protection against scratches, drops, and can reportedly withstand rain for up to 12 hours.

Design: The phone is said to weigh 199 grams and measure 7.89mm in thickness.
