Sony launches Bravia 3 Series TVs in India: Price, availability and more

Sony India has announced the launch of its Bravia 3 Series televisions in India. The new Bravia 3 TV Series is available in 108 cm (43-inch), 126 cm (50-inch), 139 cm (55-inch), 164 cm (65-inch), 189 cm (75-inch) and 215 cm (85-inch) sizes.

Currently, only the Sony Bravia 3 Series TV models K-55S30 and K-65S30 are available for purchase at Rs 93,990 and Rs 1,21,990 respectively. Sony is yet to announce the availability and pricing of its Bravia 3 Series TV models K-43S30, K-50S30, K-75S30 and K-85S30.

Sony Bravia 3 Series TVs: Features

As per Sony, the 4K HDR Processor X1 in Sony's Bravia 3 Series enhances picture quality through advanced algorithms and delivers vibrant colours with TRILUMINOS Pro. Also, the Sony Bravia 3 Series comes powered with technologies like the Dynamic Contrast Enhancer, Object-Based HDR Remaster, Super Bit Mapping, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

According to Sony, the X-Balanced Speaker in the Sony Bravia 3 Series enhances audio clarity while maintaining an ultra-slim TV design. Paired with Dual Bass Reflex, it is claimed to produce clear, multidimensional audio with a rich bass.

The Bravia 3 Series offers a content library with access to over 400,000 movies and TV episodes, plus 10,000 apps and games.

The Bravia 3 Series includes SONY PICTURES CORE, a movie service offering a selection of Sony Pictures' latest releases and classic blockbusters. Sony claims that with Pure Stream, you can stream HDR movies at up to 80 Mbps, delivering picture quality comparable to 4K UHD Blu-ray.

For great picture and sound quality, the Bravia 3 Series TVs come with technologies like Ambient Optimization, Light Sensor and Acoustic Auto Calibration. Ambient Optimization adjusts picture and sound settings based on the surrounding environment, ensuring optimal viewing and listening experiences. The built-in Light Sensor intelligently adjusts brightness according to ambient light levels.
