Poco M7 Plus 5G launched in India with 7,000mAh battery and 144Hz display: Price, features and more

Poco has launched the Poco M7 Plus 5G in India, expanding its M7 lineup that already includes the Poco M7 5G and Poco M7 Pro 5G. The new handset features a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supports 144Hz refresh rate, and comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor.

The Poco M7 Plus 5G is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs. 14,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It will be available via Flipkart from August 19 at 12pm IST in Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver colours. Launch offers include an instant Rs. 1,000 discount on purchases made using HDFC, SBI, or ICICI Bank cards, or an additional Rs. 1,000 exchange bonus on eligible devices.

The smartphone sports a 6.9-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 288Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 850 nits. The display is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light, flicker-free, and circadian standards.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, expandable virtually to 16GB. Storage options go up to 256GB with UFS 2.2, and the device runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. Poco promises two years of major OS updates and four years of security patches.

For photography, the Poco M7 Plus 5G has a 50-megapixel main rear camera alongside an unspecified secondary sensor. The front camera is an 8-megapixel unit, and both support video recording at up to 1080p/30fps.

The 7,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C. The device also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and weighs 217g.
