After introducing the Find X8 series globally earlier this year, Oppo is now gearing up to unveil its camera flagship Find X9 series in China in October this year. The lineup will include the Find X9, Find X9 Pro, and Find X9 Ultra, with the Ultra model expected to be released in the first half of 2026. However, well ahead of its debut, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared early details about the Ultra edition’s display and cameras.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra: Expected specifications
According to the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station via Weibo, the upcoming flagship smartphone from Oppo, which is expected to be the Find X9 Ultra, is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution and a 2.5D glass on top. Further, the phone is said to have a 200MP primary camera with a 1/1.1-inch sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor alongside another periscope lens, which will combine to provide greater zoom capabilities.
This would mark a big shift from the current Oppo flagship, the Find X8 Ultra, which comes with four 50MP camera sensors and a 2MP spectral sensor. Moreover, the Find X9 Ultra, like its predecessor, should continue with a Hasselblad camera module, as Oppo and the Swedish camera manufacturer have recently extended their imaging partnership.
Previous leaks and reports have claimed that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which is the next-gen flagship SoC set to be announced in September during Qualcomm's annual Snapdragon Summit. On the battery front, it is tipped to house a capacity of around 7,000mAh.
