After multiple rumours and teasers, Oppo has started teasing its next premium flagship smartphone, the Find N5. The handset is also expected to make its debut as the OnePlus Open 2 in global markets. Now, the chief of the OPPO Find series, Zhou Yibao, has shared some of the official images of the upcoming OPPO Find N5 demonstrating its thin profile next to an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Oppo Find N5: Expected design and specifications
The images reveal the ultra-slim design of the upcoming Oppo Find N5. The phone, in its unfolded form, is stacked next to two coins, four credit cards, and an iPhone 16 Pro Max. All the images appear to show how slim the device is by comparing its thickness with these things, as one-half of the device is barely the thickness of the visible Type-C USB port.
Moreover, the foldable is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and the device with model number PKH110 was also spotted on Geekbench. Its results are in line with other flagships running on the latest Qualcomm chip. However, the CPU in the listing has only seven cores - 2x4.32 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix L + 5x3.53 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix M, which means that the device could be powered by the newly launched custom variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
It managed 3,083 points in single-core and 8,865 in the multi-core tests. Apart from this, Oppo Chief Product Officer Pete Lau has confirmed that the Find N5 foldable will launch in February, and it is expected to debut in China first. However, the OnePlus Open 2 could arrive in global markets at a later date.
