Oppo is expected to expand its smartphone lineup with the launch of its new F29 5G smartphone, the successor to the Oppo F27 5G series. The lineup will include the Oppo F29 5G and Oppo F29 Pro 5G. The smartphones are expected to emphasise durability, featuring IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard Oppo F29 5G could also come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. Both models are likely to have slim bezels and a premium design.

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, which also powers devices like the Oppo Reno 12 Pro. The Oppo F29 5G may come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Both phones are expected to run on ColorOS based on Android.

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is expected to feature a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP sensor. On the front, a 16MP camera may be used for selfies and video calls. The Oppo F29 5G is likely to feature a similar setup but without OIS.

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is rumored to house a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. It could also come with a larger 6,500mAh battery but support only 45W charging.

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G could launch in three variants: 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, and 12GB RAM/256GB storage. The Oppo F29 5G may come in two options: 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

Leaks suggest that the Oppo F29 Pro 5G could be priced under ₹30,000, while the Oppo F29 5G may be available for under ₹25,000 in India.
