The next OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus 15, is edging closer to launch, and leaks suggest it’s shaping up to be a powerhouse. The company has confirmed the device will debut in China this October, and recent reports hint at a global launch around November 13.

One of the most exciting updates? The battery. According to tipster Bald Panda, the OnePlus 15 will pack a massive 7,300mAh battery, the largest ever on a OnePlus phone. Not just big, it’s fast too supporting 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, though it’s unclear if reverse charging will be included.

The phone will reportedly sport a slightly smaller 6.78-inch display compared to the 6.82-inch screen on the OnePlus 13. It will measure 8.1mm in thickness and weigh around 211–215 grams. Early leaks suggest the device will come in Sand Dune, Black, and Purple color options.

Performance is another area where the OnePlus 15 is expected to shine. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, built on TSMC’s 3nm process. This chip promises up to 23% better performance and 20% improved battery efficiency compared to its predecessor. Gamers will likely appreciate the 165Hz display, an upgrade from the 120Hz screens of earlier OnePlus models, allowing some games to reach 165 frames per second.

Software-wise, the OnePlus 15 will ship with Android 16-based ColorOS 16 in China and OxygenOS 16 elsewhere. OnePlus India has revealed that OxygenOS 16 will integrate Google’s Gemini AI models, bringing on-device AI features directly to the smartphone.

With its massive battery, faster charging, high-refresh display, and AI-powered software, the OnePlus 15 looks set to impress both casual users and power users alike. While some details remain unconfirmed, these leaks paint a picture of a phone that’s built to last longer, perform better, and keep up with demanding games and apps—without constantly needing a charge.

Whether the OnePlus 15 can outshine its predecessors and rival phones from Samsung and Apple will only become clear once it hits the market, but early signs suggest it’s a device worth keeping an eye on.
