Xiaomi is set to introduce the Redmi Note 15 series in India in the coming weeks. The company has released a teaser for the Redmi Note 15 5G 108 MasterPixel Edition, expected to be the base model. While an official date has not been announced, reports indicate an early January 2026 launch window. The Pro and Pro Plus models are likely to debut later.
According to details available so far, the Redmi Note 15 is expected to feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also reported to come with an upgraded IP68 rating for dust and water resistance in India, compared to the IP65 rating that the device carried in China.
Performance and software
Powering the Redmi Note 15 could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The smartphone is likely to ship with Android 16-based HyperOS out of the box. Xiaomi has not revealed RAM and storage variants yet, but more information is expected closer to launch.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 15 5G 108 MasterPixel Edition will include a 108MP primary rear camera. The setup is expected to be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, the device may house a 20MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Battery and charging
The Redmi Note 15 is tipped to include a 5,520mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. This aligns with previous Redmi Note models that focus on offering long usage time and faster charging support.
Additional specifications, including pricing and sale date, are expected to be announced once Xiaomi confirms the official launch. For now, the Redmi Note 15 stands out with its 108MP camera, large AMOLED display, updated protection rating, and expected hardware upgrades.
