Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has found his new obsession--Google Gemini’s latest AI image tool called Nano Banana. The billionaire, famous for his trademark leather jackets, couldn’t stop raving about it during an event in London, leaving both the audience and the internet buzzing.

“How could anyone not love Nano Banana? I mean Nano Banana, how good is that? Tell me it’s not true!” Huang exclaimed on stage, as reported by Wired. He even revealed that he had been discussing the tool with Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind. “I was just talking to Demis yesterday and I said ‘How about that Nano Banana! How good is that?’” he added.

His enthusiastic comments quickly caught the attention of Google CEO Sundar Pichai. When Nicole Brichtova, who works at Google DeepMind, shared a post about Huang’s reaction, Pichai couldn’t resist chiming in. Quoting her post, he wrote, “Mine too,” in response to Huang being a fan of Nano Banana. Pichai’s simple but cheerful reply has since gathered thousands of views and sparked lively chatter online.

Social media users joined in the fun, with one commenting, “There is not enough appreciation to go around. Not even close. We try anyway.” Another teased, “Sundar, what comes after Nano Banana?” Many also praised the tool’s affordability and performance, with one user writing, “The most impressive aspect of Nano Banana is its exceptional cost efficiency compared to other image models. And thank your engineers for that because it’s been an absolute hit and the servers are still running smoothly.”

For Huang, though, his fascination with AI goes beyond catchy names. In an earlier interview, he spoke about how much he relies on AI in his daily life, especially word processors. “It remembers me and knows what I’m going to talk about. It’s a thinking partner, it’s truly terrific, and it saves me a ton of time,” he said. “Frankly, I think the quality of work is better.”

From tech leaders to everyday users, Nano Banana seems to be having its moment — and with Jensen Huang cheering it on, its popularity is only set to grow.
