Motorola has been on a launching spree recently, and the brand has started teasing its next smartphone in India. Without naming the upcoming smartphone, Motorola has started teasing it with the tagline “World’s Slimmest Military Grade Phone”. After, the Motorola G85, Edge 50 Fusion, and Edge 50 Pro were launched on Flipkart, the upcoming smartphone is also confirmed to be available from the same shopping website.

Motorola has also shared another teaser on X (formerly known as Twitter), with the tagline “built to survive the toughest adventures.” The company claims that this upcoming device is the world’s slimmest smartphone with a MIL-STD-810H certification, which means that it can withstand accidental drops and extreme heat, cold, and humid weather conditions.

Based on recent leaks and rumours, this upcoming smartphone could be the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. The device is also touted to come with an IP54 rating with 8.1mm thickness and a 4,310mAh battery. The device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

Additionally, it will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch 120Hz pOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Edge 50 Neo is expected to come with a triple rear camera system with a main 50 MP camera, 13 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP telephoto camera. For selfies, it could have a 32MP front camera.

Furthermore, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo will run on the Android 14 operating system topped with Hello UI. Its launch timeline is yet to be revealed, but we can expect the phone to launch early next month.
