Moto G86 Power 5G launched in India with 6,720mAh battery and 50MP camera: Price, features and more

Motorola has introduced the Moto G86 Power 5G in India, expanding its G-series portfolio with a device focused on battery life, durability, and multimedia performance. The smartphone features a massive 6,720mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-600 main camera. It will be available in three colours with a vegan leather finish and meets several durability standards.

Price in India

The Moto G86 Power 5G is priced at Rs. 17,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Sales begin on August 6 through Motorola's official website and Flipkart. Customers can choose from Cosmic Sky, Golden Cypress, and Spellbound colour options, each Pantone-certified.

Availability

The device will be up for grabs via online channels starting August 6. Motorola is expected to offer limited-time launch offers, although specifics haven't been detailed yet.

Moto G86 Power 5G Features

The Moto G86 Power 5G has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,220x2,712 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen supports HDR10+ and offers a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and carries SGS certification for low blue light and motion blur.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage is expandable up to 1TB via microSD. It boots Android 15 with Motorola's Hello UI.

Camera features include a triple rear setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-600 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro support, and a 3-in-1 flicker sensor. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The phone includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Audio, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G support, and an in-display fingerprint reader. It meets IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings and also has MIL-STD-810H durability certification.

A 6,720mAh battery powers the device with support for 33W TurboPower charging. The phone weighs 198g and measures 8.6mm in thickness.
