Indian smartphone brand Lava is gearing up to unveil its next-generation smartphone, the Lava Agni 4, on November 20, 2025. The company has begun sharing teasers that reveal glimpses of its design and features. Positioned as the successor to last year’s Agni 3 5G, the Agni 4 appears to represent Lava’s continued effort to strengthen its mid-range portfolio. Think of it as the fourth chapter in Lava’s Agni series — each edition refining the formula just a little more.
FeaturesThe teasers highlight a premium metal frame and a dual-rear camera design arranged horizontally, replacing the triple-camera layout of its predecessor. The company has also dropped the small secondary display that was previously integrated into the Agni 3’s rear panel.
Powering the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, although Lava hasn’t confirmed which exact version it will use. Reports suggest the Dimensity 8350 SoC, supported by UFS 4.0 storage for faster data transfer speeds — like switching from a regular road to a high-speed expressway.
The Agni 4 is also expected to include a 6.78-inch Full HD+ flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a massive 7,000mAh battery, marking a significant upgrade over the 5,000mAh unit in the Agni 3.
Price in IndiaLava has yet to announce the official price of the Agni 4, but based on earlier trends, the phone is expected to fall within the Rs 20,000–Rs 22,000 range — similar to the launch pricing of the Agni 3.
Meanwhile, fans have launched a Change.org petition urging Lava to develop its own Android OS and UI, citing the need for better security and localized features. As anticipation builds, the Agni 4 is shaping up to be more than just a hardware refresh — it could signal Lava’s growing ambitions in software as well.
