Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL leaks reveal expanded camera panel

Google’s Pixel 9 series is scheduled to launch on August 13, and various rumours and speculations of all the devices in the series have been surfacing online. Last week, the European pricing of all the smartphones in the Google Pixel 9 series was tipped by a French publication. Now, two new videos of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL from TikTok showcase the upcoming smartphones from all sides.

According to a new report by GSMArena, a TikTok account dubbed PixoPhone has posted two new videos, which reveal the full design of the Google Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL exactly one month before their launch. The videos are reportedly posted from Ukraine and the first video gives a brief overview of both the phone side by side.

Moreover, in another video, the same channel placed the Pro XL model right next to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The leaked videos also reveal that both the upcoming smartphones have larger camera modules protruding from the back of the phones.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL, which is the new entrant in the Pixel 9 series, appears to have a glossy design, whereas the Pixel 9 seems to have a matte finish. Moreover, the Pixel 9 Pro XL also seems to retain the temperature sensor, which was introduced last year with the Pixel 8 Pro.

As excitement builds towards next month’s Made by Google event, smartphone enthusiasts eagerly await official confirmation and further details about the Pixel 9 series. Therefore, we can expect further leaks and rumours leading up to the event.
