Gigabyte has launched its flagship AI-powered gaming laptop, the Aorus Master 16, in India. Built for both gamers and AI enthusiasts, the laptop combines next-generation performance hardware with intelligent software features. It introduces GiMATE, Gigabyte’s proprietary AI agent, and is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor along with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU.
Price and availability
The Aorus Master 16 will soon be available for purchase via Amazon and Flipkart. The base configuration starts at Rs 3,15,000 in India. While the official sale date hasn’t been disclosed yet, the laptop will be listed under Gigabyte’s Aorus gaming category.
Features
At the centre of the Aorus Master 16 is GiMATE, an AI agent powered by a large language model. With a simple Press and Speak function, users can manage system performance, thermal settings, and audio profiles using voice commands, enhancing convenience and personalisation.
Under the hood, the laptop runs on the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU with an integrated NPU for on-device AI acceleration. It is paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. The system also supports NVIDIA NIM Microservices, allowing developers to build AI assistants and workflows directly on the laptop.
To manage intensive tasks, the WINDFORCE Infinity EX cooling system provides up to 230W of thermal capacity. It includes a vapor chamber, asymmetric ultra-thin fan blades, and 3D VortX airflow, enabling zero-noise operation and lower surface temperatures through Icy Touch technology.
The Aorus Master 16 also delivers on visuals and audio. It features a Dolby Vision-certified OLED display and Dolby Atmos audio with dual-force speakers for immersive surround sound.
