Single-player action game Ghost of Yōtei has launched on PS5. After the success of Ghost of Tsushima, US-based video game developer Sucker Punch Productions has followed up with Ghost of Yōtei, a standalone story set in 1600s Japan featuring a new protagonist named “Atsu”. Sixteen years before the events in Ghost of Yōtei start, Atsu’s family was murdered by a group of vagabonds known as the Yōtei Six, and she was left for dead. She survives, though, and after several years of preparation, goes on a revenge quest to find the people who killed her family.

Ghost of Yōtei has launched in three game editions: Standard, Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Edition. Here, we take a detailed look at what the Standard and Digital Deluxe editions offer to the players.

Ghost of Yōtei: Standard Edition

Ghost of Yōtei: Digital Deluxe Edition
The Ghost of Yōtei Digital Deluxe Edition includes the digital copy of the base game as well as some in-game bonus items. These are The Snake’s armour set, as well as an alternate dye for Atsu’s starting armour. Players also receive a unique horse color and unique saddle dye, an in-game Charm, gold Sword Kit and an early unlock of Traveler’s Maps, which allows them to find statues throughout the game world. The statues will help upgrade your skills in the action RPG.

For those not in the know yet, Ghost of Yōtei is not a direct sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Although it is set three centuries after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, it has a standalone story and does not feature Jin Sakai.
