Diwali 2025: How to create custom Diwali greeting images using Gemini Nano Banana AI, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity and more

Happy Diwali

Generative artificial intelligence provides a way to create custom visual greetings for occasions like Diwali. Instead of circulating template-based forwards, users can input a written wish and instruct an AI model to convert that text into a meaningful image. The process takes place through a conversational loop, where users refine visual elements until the final result matches their intent.

This creation journey moves through a few clear stages — from drafting the original message to shaping the final AI-rendered image.

Start with a clearly written wish

The first step is preparing the text that anchors the visual. For example:
“Wishing you and your loved ones a Diwali filled with warmth, laughter, and countless happy moments. May your home glow with light, your heart with peace, and your life with endless blessings.”

This text forms the basis for all subsequent visual decisions. You can choose your own text if you want.

Identify the visual ideas inside the text

From the above message, distinct concepts can be mapped to imagery:
• Light and warmth — a diya
• Happiness and celebration — fireworks
• Peace — a dove
• Blessings — folded hands
These objects define what the AI should depict.

Build the first AI prompt

After selecting the visual cues, they are combined into a structured instruction such as:“Create a Diwali image with a glowing diya in the foreground on a wooden surface, soft bokeh lights in the background, fireworks in the sky, a dove symbolizing peace, and folded hands for blessings.”

Refine through conversational iteration

Once the first draft image is generated, users adjust it using plain-language commands. They may add or remove text, ask for a version without typography, or request a completely different variation based on the same concepts in another composition or style. This iterative feedback loop enables high customization without design tools.
