Delta Force to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: Release date, pre-order benefits and more

After spending over a year on PC and mobile, free-to-play tactical shooter "Delta Force" is all set to arrive on current-gen consoles. The AAA first-person shooter will land on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 19, developer Team Jade announced on the game website. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Delta Force version will launch with the “Black Hawk Down” single-player campaign that can be downloaded for free.

With crossplay support, Delta Force players on PC and console will be able to join in the same game from the platform of their choosing. Delta Force also supports cross-progression across PC and console, which means your progress stays saved, no matter which device you switch to.

The Delta Force console version gives you full access to all the released content till now, including all game modes, operators and DLCs. For a smooth controller experience, the developers have added Aim Assist and claim to have fully optimised the game for the current-gen consoles.

Delta Force for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: Pre-order benefits

Pre-orders for the Delta Force console version are live. The pre-order pack includes the full Delta Force game and an exclusive content pack. Though the game will be free upon launch, the content pack is not.

The Delta Force pre-order pack contains the following digital items: 750 Delta Coins, the M249 - Immortal weapon skin (one unit), the Vityaz - Aerospace weapon skin (one unit), the CAR-15 - Atlantis weapon skin (one unit), Premium Weapon EXP Token x2 and Intermediate Weapon EXP Token x5.
