Apple has officially sent out invites for the launch of iPhone 16 series. The invite comes with the tagline “Its Glowtime”. The special Apple event will be held on September 9 and the company is expected to unveil four new models of iPhone 16.

It is expected that Apple will unveil four new iPhone models in the iPhone 16 series — iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max. Several leaks point to a change in the display size of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro Max could be bumped to a 6.9-inch display whereas the iPhone 16 Pro could feature a 6.3-inch display.

One of the key highlights of the new iPhone 16 series will be Apple Intelligence features. However, it is expected that those features will arrive later with a software update.

Rumours also suggest that Apple will include a new Capture button to instantly shoot images or record videos from the camera app of iPhone 16 series. It will be a physical capacitive button and have support for a force-sensitive half-press feature for actions like locking exposure, focus adjustment, zoom in and out, and more.

Along with the iPhone, three new Apple Watch models are also expected. Apple may launch Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3 and a new affordable Apple Watch SE.

Rumours also suggest that Apple could unveil the second-generation of AirPods Max and two new models of AirPods. Apple will also confirm the rollout date of iOS 18 and other software updates for its devices at the event.
