Actor Allu Arjun found himself at the centre of a fresh controversy earlier today after a podcast clip featuring a brand strategist went viral on social media. The clip triggered widespread discussion online, following which the actor’s team issued a strong rebuttal, dismissing the claims as false and announcing plans to pursue legal action against those spreading what they termed as misinformation.

In an official statement, Allu Arjun’s team clarified that a recently circulated video making allegations against the Pushpa star is entirely untrue.

Emphasising that the matter is being taken seriously, the statement also warned of legal consequences for those responsible and urged people not to circulate unverified content.

The statement read, "Certain recent comments made about Mr. Allu Arjun are completely baseless and untrue. He has always conducted himself with the utmost dignity and honour. We take these false allegations seriously. Our legal team is initiating defamation proceedings against those responsible. We request everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information."

The controversy erupted after brand manager Kaveri Baruah spoke about her alleged interaction with Allu Arjun during a podcast appearance. In the clip, she claimed that ahead of her meeting with the actor, she was allegedly given a list of 42 dos and don’ts by his team.

According to her account, the list reportedly included instructions such as avoiding direct eye contact with the actor and not shaking hands. She further remarked that South Indian film stars often arrive with large entourages and adhere to strict protocols during professional interactions.

When questioned about the reasons behind such guidelines, she stated that she was unaware of the rationale and chose not to elaborate further. Her remarks sparked significant backlash online, with several users criticising Allu Arjun, eventually prompting his team to issue a formal clarification.
